This is a mosaic of a Resplendent Quetzal bird (thanks RK for that detail). I found it in a book of Birds of the World and it turns out this an extremely rare South American bird. Now I know.

From a fellow artist, your work is AMAZING. Especially the detail on your fish pieces. You should really try to get a collection together and take it to a show. There is nothing better to give you the confidence and drive to pursue your art than the positive personal responses you get in presenting your work. best jenn
